Why Tof! ?

Today, I'm going to answer the favorite question of my friends and family whenever I tell them about my project, the one that inevitably comes up in every conversation.

It goes something like this: "You're getting into entrepreneurship, okay, but... why dried beef?!"

It's not surprising to those close to me that I'm diving into entrepreneurship. They know I'm passionate about the startup world. I've bombarded them dozens of times with brand new revolutionary business ideas, each different from the last. So, when I talk to them about "Tof!, the brand of marinated dried beef" several months apart and they realize I'm not giving up, they wonder why this idea hasn't joined the altar of abandoned ideas.

So, why? Because it's true that nothing particularly predisposed me to create a super-protein snack. I had no experience in food production, no contacts in the food industry, and I wasn't even that into sports.

The answer is simple: I identified a market opportunity and then verified it. Active people are looking for lean, super-protein snacks to effectively curb their hunger without feeling guilty. For after sports, on the go, at the office, or even during happy hour.
